You will register your child for transportation services when you register your child for school on the Parent Portal provided on the Grape Creek ISD website at www.grapecreekisd.net.

Below are the guidelines set place effective for the 2023-2024 school year.
1.) Parents are to be present with their child/children enrolled in Pre-K through 2nd grade at the designated bus stops.
2.) Bus cards will be required to ride the bus.
3.) Sanitizer dispensers are available in every bus.
4.) Students will have assigned seats and must remain seated.
5.) Students will only be allowed to ride their assigned bus to and from the school.
6.) Students are to keep their hands, feet and objects to themselves.
7.) No eating on the bus.

Thank you for your support of our district, students, staff and community.

Respectfully,
Dave Augustine
Director of Transportation

Respetuosamente,

Dave Augustine

 Wear a mask

  • Recommend wearing a mask in public settings, such as public and mass transportation, at events and gatherings, and anywhere you cannot exercise social distancing measures.

Avoid touching surfaces

  • Avoid contact with surfaces frequently touched by passengers or drivers, such as the door frame and handles, windows, and other vehicle parts.  If you must touch these surfaces, use a hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol as soon as possible afterwards.

Social distance

  • When possible, consider traveling during non-peak hours when there are likely to be fewer passengers.
  • When possible, sit in the back of larger vehicles such as vans so you can remain at least six feet away from the driver and other passengers during the trip.
  • As much as possible, limit close contact with the driver. It may not be possible to stay at least 6 feet away from the driver at all times. Ask the driver to wear a mask  and to practice proper hand hygiene immediately before and after providing assistance.

Improve ventilation

  • Ask the driver to improve the ventilation in the vehicle if possible, such as opening the windows or setting the air ventilation/air conditioning on non-recirculation mode.

Practice hand hygiene

  • After leaving the vehicle, use hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol.
  • When you arrive at your destination, wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Contact Transportation for any questions. Don't forget EVERY bus has a remind set up so you can contact transportation.
